Guided Biofilm Therapy

Whole Health is proud to offer GBT - an advanced, systematic approach to professional dental hygiene care. Dental biofilm is the soft, often invisible buildup of bacteria that forms on the teeth, along the gemlike and around dental restorations and orthodontic appliances. If it is not effectively managed, biofilm can contribute to cavities, gum inflammation and periodontal disease.

Why Patients Appreciate GBT

GBT can offer:

  • A gentle and comfortable cleaning experience

  • Targeted removal of plaque and bacterial biofilm

  • Effective removal of many surface stains

  • Reduced reliance on traditional polishing

  • Personalized oral hygiene education

  • Safe, precise care around implants, crowns, bridges and orthodontic appliances

  • A clean, smooth and refreshed feeling after treatment.

It is especially helpful for patients with sensitive teeth, braces, dental implants, restorations, periodontal concerns or significant surface staining.

Dental Hygiene for the Whole Family

We welcome adults, teens and children. Whether you are maintaining your oral health, managing gum disease, preparing for a special occasion or returning after time away from dental care, our team will meet you where you are -without judgement.

    Heather Jones

Hello! My name is Heather, I am one of the Registered Dental Hygienists at Whole Health. I was born and raised in Wooler, Ontario. I completed my Dental Hygiene Diploma at Algonquin College in Ottawa.

My husband and I, as well as our 2 children and our Yorkiepoo (Timmy), have recently moved back to the area after many years of living in Mississauga, Ontario.

I am passionate about my dental hygiene career, and am very excited to be a part of the Whole Health team!

  • Jenn Arbuckle

Hey! I’m Jenn a Registered Dental Hygienist and owner of Whole Health. I opened Whole Health in May of 2017 with a dream to create a safe and welcoming space for various disciplines.

I believe independent dental hygiene clinics open more opportunities for people to be seen, it also allows the hygienist greater autonomy in her practice. We offer a relaxed environment, more time with our clients, direct billing to insurance and competitive rates. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
