Infrared Sauna

Warmth. Stillness. Time for yourself.

Step away from the demands of your day and settle into soothing warmth. Our infrared sauna at Whole Health offers a peaceful opportunity to slow down and make relaxation part of your wellness routine.

What is an Infrared Sauna?

An infrared sauna uses infrared energy to warm your body directly, rather than relying primarily on heating the air around you. This allows it to operate at a lower air temperature than many traditional saunas while still creating a warming, sweat-producing experience.

Infrared sauna sessions focus on heat and relaxation. They are a different service from our Kala red and near-infrared light therapy.

What to Expect

During your session, you’ll sit comfortably in the sauna as your body gradually warms. You may begin to perspire, although how much you seat varies from person to person.

If you’re new to sauna use, let our team know. Start with a shorter exposure and follow the guidance provided for your session. You can leave at any time - your comfort matters more than completing a set amount of time.

Preparing for Your Visit

  • arrive well hydrated and drink water afterward

  • avoid alcohol before your appointment

  • postpone your visit if you have a fever, feel unwell, or are dehydrated

  • tell our team about any health concerns o changes before your session

  • leave the sauna and notify staff if you feel dizzy, nauseated, weak, or uncomfortable

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sweat heavily to enjoy my session?

No. Sweating varies with the individual, temperature, and time spend in the sauna. Heavy sweating is not a measure of how beneficial a session is, and you should never push past your comfort level.

Does infrared sauna help with weight loss or detoxification?

Sweating can cause temporary water loss, which returns when you rehydrate. Sauna use is not a treatment for fat loss, ,and claims that it removes significant amounts of toxins are not well established.

How often should I book?

There is no single schedule that suits everyone. Frequency depends on your health, heat tolerance, and preference. Begin conservatively and seek healthcare advice when needed.

What do I wear in the sauna?

You will have the space to yourself, in complete privacy. So we recommend whatever you are comfortable in (bathing suit, or just a towel).

Do you have a shower to use after my sauna session?

Yes. We do, we have a shower for your convenience.
